句型分析：whose 引导一个非限制性定语从句，先行词India ，句意为”印度的领导人用火箭成功地抵抗英国”，再加上前面as a weapon of war，可知rockets as war weapons对应的是Indians，因此剑三17页9题选择B。

非限制性定语从句，以其独特的断句方式在浩瀚的英语考题中一直屹立不倒。其实在传统的新概念三册中就有提及whose引导的非限，并要求教师在课堂中适当延伸。

如新三Lesson 7 《Mutilated ladies》有一段非常经典的介绍：

这一句，不仅涉及了whose引导的定语从句，而且还提供了一个很好的写作素材.
